When do I receive my confirmation for booking?
After you have completed the booking process you will receive your booking confirmation. Your booking confirmation will provide you with all of your reservation details you require. If you require assistance please contact our team via sales@betterhotelroom.com for assistance.

How does payment work?
This depends on the property and/or room type you book. Payment can happen in two ways. You may pay direct to the property at check in or you may be required to pay in advance. Should you be required to pay in advance the property will charge your card, not betterhotelroom.com. Should you choose the pay at time of stay, your credit card will only be used by betterhotelroom.com to secure your booking and full payment of your booking will be required by the property at the time of check in or check out. A tax invoice will then be issued by the property for the monies paid. Some properties may also require a deposit (cash or credit card authority) at time of check in. This is apart of the hotel's policy and for further information you should contact the property directly. If you are unsure of how payment is to be made you can find this information in the room description under conditions or in your booking confirmation.

Can I pay for my stay in advance?
Please contact the hotel directly after you make your booking to make the necessary arrangements. The properties contact information can be found on your booking confirmation.

Can I pay for my stay at the hotel with a different credit card to the credit card I used to make the reservation?
Hotels will accept payment for your stay with an alternative card or in cash.

Where can I make special requests such as early or late arrivals or bedding requests to the hotel?
You can make these requests a number of ways. For example, on the booking page you will find a field for you to add any special requests. You can also contact the property directly after your booking is confirmed by using the Hotel contact details in your booking confirmation. Please note that special requests cannot be guaranteed. However, the property will do its best to accommodate you. It’s best to check with the property directly to ensure you avoid any disappointment

Do I need to bring anything with me in order to check in?
You should have access to your confirmation email. And, if you chose to pay later, make sure you have a valid credit card with you that the property will accept for you to make payment on check in. If you have made a Government, Seniors, AAA or Corporate booking, make sure you take a valid ID with you.

What does it mean if I get an error message when booking?
If you receive an error message when booking, and you are not sure if your booking has been finalised, please contact our support team at sales@betterhotelroom.com.au or fill out the Contact Us Form.

Can I cancel or amend a reservation after I book?
Cancellations or amendments will depend on the policies of the property you’ve booked which is outlined in your booking confirmation. If your booking allows cancellation, you can cancel a booking very easily by clicking on the ‘Cancel this Booking’ link in your booking confirmation, then click on ‘cancel booking’ and select a reason for cancelling. If I need to cancel my booking will I pay a cancellation fee?
Cancellation policies vary from room to room and property to property. You will need to check what policy applies to your booking. You can do this via your booking confirmation. If you are unsure please contact our team at sales@betterhotelroom.com of simply fill out the Contact Us Form.

How do I know that my booking has been cancelled?
Once your booking has been cancelled, you should receive an email confirming this. Please check your inbox and junk mail folders. If you do not receive an email please contact us. You can do so by emailing sales@betterhotelroom.com or completing the Contact Us Form.

How do I get more information on the Hotel's facilities?
Hotel and Room facilities are clearly listed on the hotel's page under the main image photo. Room facilities can be found under each room type by clicking on ‘more detail’.

How do I reset my password?
If you have forgotten your account password, please click on “Login” in the top right corner of the page, then select “Forgot password?” at the bottom of the pop up box.

How much does it cost to have an account with BHR?
Becoming a part of BHR is completely free. We even reward you for using our service.

I can’t log into my account?
If you are having difficulty logging in to BHR, please email sales@betterhotelroom.com.au and our team will be able to help.

How do I update my account information?
Your account can be accessed by clicking on the 'Login' link at the top right corner of the site. You can view your history, update your payment and contact information and view your BHR Rewards Points.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?
On the bottom of every email we send out there is a link to unsubscribe. You can also contact us to have your account removed from our mailing list at sales@betterhotelroom.com.au, or simply complete the Contact Us Form.

How do I close my account?
If you no longer want to be a part of BHR, please email a request to cancel your membership to sales@betterhotelroom.com.au or simply complete the Contact Us Form.

How do I know if my personal information is safe in my account?
The safety of your credit card and personal information is very important to us. We do not share, sell, or otherwise use your personal information without your permission, except when required by law or any legal process. We use the upmost care and security with any information in your account and will not use this information in ways to which you have not consented. What is BHR Certification?
At BHR we think it's important to compare like with like therefore we have certified some hotels as Platinum, Gold or Silver. The Hotel will meet the exact criteria regardless of where it is located.
So you can book with confidence!

Can ratings be bought?
Absolutely not, in order to receive a Silver, Gold or Platinum rating on betterhotelroom.com, hotels must meet the criteria required for that standard level.
